The Author

It all started for Cecil Miller after a seventeen-year-old boy could not find any directions to a future. He decided to join the air force, 1955-1959, he was fortunate to find a Tech School in air traffic control (ATC), at Biloxi, MS. He then was assigned to work in the control tower at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Edwards (EDW) is an airplane test base and this was during the jet age, the race to space, during the cold war and the seven original Astronauts. In 1960, He joined the Federal Aviation Administration to continue in air traffic control until 1990. Then after being a contractor for the FAA, he retired in 2013.

He and his wife, Beverly live in Fort Worth, Texas. Their immediate family all live around them or are in higher schooling on a temporary basis.
